Helping you sell RSIGuard

This article explores a couple of the things we've done to help you be successful with RSIGuard as a reseller.

Registration Tracking

If you suggest RSIGuard to a customer, you deserve to receive a commission when they choose to buy it. However, it is easy for a customer to take your recommendation, and then, a few weeks later, end up at our website to make the purchase. For that reason, when people register RSIGuard, we ask them for their RSIGuard ID# (a number generated when RSIGuard is first installed) in order to generate them a registration code. If you wish, you can host a customized version of RSIGuard on your website or on a CD. When a user installs from your website or CD, their ID# indicates that you provided the installation. If they ultimately purchase from us directly, we will still know that you were the source and provide you your commission.

Customized CDs

Customized CDs provide much more than registration code tracking. You can place your own artwork on the main display, and customize text and buttons for your business. The window shown below, for example, shows the startup screen for the ficticious company, ACME Ergonomics.

When a user inserts your CD, they see your logo, your website or other contact information, and a button they can click on to visit your website.

When the user installs RSIGuard, it marks it as originating from one of your CDs, and whether they end up purchasing directly from you or from us, you still receive your commission.

Fees for Producing Custom Materials

Because we get so many requests to produce customized CDs and web downloads, we unfortunately must charge a production fee.

If you feel you need a waiver from this fee, please explain why in your request for these items.

Also, keep in mind, if your focus is selling licenses to larger clients, there may be no need for a customized materials since you can personally track the sales process.
