AutoClick

Good! Here are a few things to remember:

  • Avoid moving the mouse when you aren't about to click on something -- this will keep AutoClick from clicking when you don't want it to. If you're not about to click on something, the best idea is to take your hand off of the mouse!

  • When you get comfortable with AutoClick, you can make it click faster -- click on the Setup menu of RSIGuard. Select the Settings... item. In the AutoClick tab, reduce the time from 8 tenths of a second to something like 4 or 5. For more information, view AutoClick Help.
  • Don't leave your finger hovering over the mouse button -- instead, let your clicking finger rest.

Sometimes new users of AutoClick wonder "Where should I 'park' the mouse cursor when I don't want it to click?" The answer is, you don't need to "park" it anywhere -- just don't move the mouse around until you want to click on something.
